Mission & Vision
The primary aim of this department was to create skilled manpower in the field of Architecture that will ensure Physical and socio-economic development of the country as a whole. In other words, the department aimed to contribute to the global equirement of abled workforce to compete with the rest of the world in the field of Architecture. The Department offers an undergraduate degree termed as Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) with a five year curriculum. This is a professional degree that fulfils the educational requirements of a licensed architect. The program provides opportunities for general education as well as preparation for professional practice and/or graduate study. ‘The courses in architecture develop a broad understanding of the concepts and methods for the planning and design of buildings, landscapes and cities’. Students work in the design studios ranges from hand drawing and three-dimensional physical models to three-dimensional parametric modeling. The Bachelor of Architecture program equips undergraduates to address local and global architectural issues. The Vision and Mission of the DoA are as follows:
